MANAGEMENT
For the past seven years, I've been a dedicated artist manager, passionately steering the development and execution of creative and business campaigns for remarkable talents. I've had the privilege of collaborating with exceptionally hardworking and innovative artists. Allow me to highlight two of these artists and share a glimpse of the achievements to which I've been fortunate enough to contribute.
A&R
In addition to artist management, I've had the honour of actively contributing to the early stages of artists' careers, showcasing a keen ability to spot emerging talents. One notable instance involved guiding Australian indie label - Mirror Records - towards Leeds four-piece, 'L'Objectif,' resulting in the band securing a contract with the label for the AUS/NZ territory. During an event I organised, I facilitated a performance by the Australian indie band 'Girl and Girl.' Witnessing their exceptional talent, I was able to give the band some music industry and business advice. Today, just over two years later, they've inked a global record deal with Sub Pop and graced prestigious festivals like Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris.
I also played a pivotal role in the early management of psych-rock outfit 'The Oogars,' witnessing their rapid ascent from relative unknowns to sharing the stage with King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard within a single year. The events I curated in my hometown consistently focused on promoting up-and-coming acts, with several performers achieving national stardom after gracing my stages, including Sycco, The Moving Stills, Daste, and Bella Amor.
